Cranberry and jalapeno Sauce

1-2 jalapenos, seeds and ribs removes, diced Juice and zest of 1 large orange (1/2 cup of juice necessary) 1 tablespoon zested fresh ginger 1 cup granulated sugar 1 12 oz bag of fresh cranberries Zest from 1 lemon 1 tablespoon lemon juice Salt

In a saucepan, put jalapenos, orange juice & zest, ginger and sugar. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add cranberries and set over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Add water if mixture appears too dry. Add in lemon juice and zest and season to taste with salt or a bit more sugar. Let cool completely and serve.

Can be made up to 3 days in advance.
